The Calvary Day football team hit the road on Friday for a round trip of more than 550 miles to face Fellowship Christian in a Class A-3A state semifinal.
The Cavaliers had an impressive, complete effort in all phases of the game as they made sure the ride home of more than four hours late Friday night would be a happy one — with players and coaches satisfied after a clutch performance.
