Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder Greg Docherty has paid tribute to a Charlton Athletic fan who died during their Championship clash with Portsmouth, forcing the match to be abandoned.
The south London side announced the heartbreaking news that a supporter died after suffering a medical emergency during their fixture against Pompey. The match at The Valley was halted after just 12 minutes when spectators alerted officials and players to the incident.
Medical assistance was provided immediately, with the game eventually called off approximately 45 minutes afterwards.
