MADISON, Wis. -- More snow is expected in Madison beginning on Saturday evening.
Accumulating snow of 2-5 inches are possible, with isolated amounts further southwest. In response, city plows will be out on salt routes, which are roughly 800 miles of traffic lanes comprised of the roads around hospitals, fire stations, and other high traffic city roads.
Residents should be prepared to encounter snowy roads overnight on Saturday into Sunday morning.
No determination has been made yet if every street will be plowed in response to Saturday's snowfall. Every street is plowed when there are three or more inches of snow on the roads and the storm is at or near its end.
