Jordan Walsh is experiencing his epic breakout moment for the Boston Celtics in his third season. The Celtics are 9-2 since head coach Joe Mazzulla inserted Walsh into the starting lineup. Over Walsh’s last two games, he’s been nearly perfect, dropping 39 points on 14-of-15 from the field to go along with 11 rebounds, three blocks, and three steals. Holy moly.

It’s been a career-changing stretch for the 21-year-old Walsh, and it’s awesome to see all of his hard work over the past two-plus seasons paying off in a big way.

Now that Jordan has established himself as a productive and confident NBA player, though, Celtics star Jaylen Brown believes it’s time to scale back the praise and dive back into humility.
