Former Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has been supported by former teammates after his second injury blow of the season. The England international is reportedly set to be out for around two months with a quad injury.

He suffered the problem during the midweek 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid have since confirmed the blow.

In a statement , they said: "Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player, Trent Alexander-Arnold, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the rectus anterior quadriceps in his left leg.
