Strictly Come Dancing icon Dame Arlene Phillips has revealed she would chose to go to Dignitas to end her life if she battled Alzheimer's like her late dad.
The dancer and choreographer, 82, reflected on her late father's heartbreaking battle with Alzheimer's before his death in 2000 aged 89.
In a chat with The Times Weekend supplement , she confessed: "My friends and I talk about this a lot.
"I think if I had Alzheimer's I'd like to go to Dignitas.

"So many people are against that, but it would be my decision. I don't ever want my daughters to go through what I went through."
Arlene, who is currently working on choreography for Footballers Wives: The Musical, also spoke about watching
