Toronto’s World Cup schedule is set.
BMO Field, which will be called Toronto Stadium throughout the duration of the 48-team tournament, will play host to a match between Germany and the Ivory Coast in one of its six tournament games in June and July 2026, FIFA announced Saturday.
Toronto will also host games between Senegal and one of Iraq, Suriname or Bolivia; Ghana and Panama; and Panama and Croatia.
Canada was already set to face the winner of a four-team European playoff — potentially Italy, but also possibly Northern Ireland, Wales, or Bosnia and Herzegovina — at Toronto Stadium in the Canadian World Cup opener on June 12.
