Bomb threat prompts evacuation at Sevierville Walmart, police say

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Sevierville Police Department said a bomb threat prompted an evacuation at Walmart Saturday afternoon.

SPD said a bomb threat had been reported at the store on Parkway just before 1 p.m., adding that the building was evacuated as a precaution.

SPD said an investigation remains active and ongoing.
