ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was shot and killed at a Griffin restaurant on Saturday morning after a large fight broke out, according to local police.

Officers were called to Kevin’s Korner Bar & Grill off Williamson Zebulon Road at around midnight, where they found a 28-year-old man shot in the neck. He was taken to Wellstar Spalding Medical Center, where he later died.

Police said a fight involving about 10 patrons led to the gunfire. Daulton Statham, 25, has been charged with murder and is being held in Spalding County Jail.

The victim has not yet been identified.
