LITCHFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - A dog was rescued after being abandoned in Litchfield on Saturday morning.
At around 8 a.m. troopers were called to Route 118 and Route 254 in Litchfield after a report of a dog that was dumped on the side of the road, according to Connecticut State Police Troop L.
When crews arrived, they found a female pitbull mix without a collar.
First responders quickly transported her back to their headquarters for the moment until they can find her a permanent home.
The vehicle description for the suspect is a white pick-up truck with an unknown license plate.
