Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Sunday that he is willing to participate in a public debate on how UDF MPs from the state have performed in Parliament, inviting the opposition to propose a date and time.
Pinarayi Vijayan was responding to reporters who asked about AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal’s challenge, questioning whether Vijayan was prepared for an open discussion on the issue.
Venugopal’s remarks came after Vijayan recently criticised UDF MPs, saying they had not adequately highlighted Kerala’s development concerns in Parliament and had, on several occasions, acted in ways that went against the state’s interests, news agency PTI reported.
