The Houston Texans (7-5) and the Kansas City Chiefs (6-6) meet for Sunday Night Football at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC / Peacock). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Texans vs. Chiefs odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 14.
The Texans picked up a huge 20-16 road win against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday in the return of QB C.J. Stroud from a 3-game absence due to concussion. Stroud threw for 276 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT, while WR Nico Collins had 5 receptions for 98 yards, while running for a 7-yard TD in his only carry. RB Nick Chubb also rushed for 34 yards and a score.
Houston has won 4 in a row, while going 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in the span. The defense has been on fire this season, and it has allowed 19 or fewer points in 3 in a row, 5 of the past 6 outings, and 20 or fewer points in 10 of 12 contests. The Under has cashed in 3 in a row.
The Chiefs suffered a 31-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, and Kansas City has won just once in the past 4 games, while failing to cover each of those outings. QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 261 yards and 4 TDs, while WR Rashee Rice had 8 receptions for 92 yards and 2 scores, while TE Travis Kelce had 45 yards and a TD. The Under is 6-1 in the past 7 games, though the Over cashed (53) against Dallas last time out.

Best Texans at Chiefs prop bets
Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:29 a.m. ET
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes UNDER 1.5 PASSING TDs (-140); OVER 0.5 INTERCEPTIONS (-105)
In case you've missed it, Texans coach DeMeco Ryans has a SICK defense down in the land of oil, Tex-Mex and "swangas". I feel I should be too old to know what the latter is, but here we are.
Anyway, the Houston passing defense has allowed just 2,354 passing yards and 12 TDs with 12 INTs, while teams are completing just 58.4% of their pass attempts with 6.3 yards per pass attempt, both the third-best marks in the NFL.
Mahomes is obviously a superstar who has seen it all in his career so far. However, this is going to be a difficult matchup on a chilly night in Kansas City, with temperatures in the upper 20's. On Thanksgiving, we saw Mahomes toss 4 TDs, but that was against the leaky passing defense of the Cowboys. Prior to that, he had just a single TD pass in the previous 3 games against teams with an actual NFL-caliber defense. Against the Texans, he'll revert back to those struggles. And, at least one pick should be an easy play. He has 5 picks in the past 5 outings.
SNF: Best ML, ATS and O/U bets
Chiefs WR Rashee Rice UNDER 70.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-110)
We mentioned Mahomes, above, and how he is expected to go Under his totals. Well, his biggest threat in the passing game will struggle, too.
While I do not see the same struggles for Kelce (I could actually see him go Over 46.5 (-118) Receiving Yards), with Mahomes rushed and looking for those available in short and intermediate routes, the downfield stuff just won't be there for Rice.
Texans TE Dalton Schultz OVER 4.5 RECEPTIONS (-118); *bonus* ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (+350)
Schultz has 6 or more receptions in 4 of his past 5 games, and 8 of the past 10 outings. I plan on playing this prop at a rather aggressive level. There's not much more to say.
As far as the bonus, this will take a little bit of a leap of faith. Schultz has managed just a single TD reception this season, coming in Week 9 at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Still, in the red zone, Schultz is likely to be one of the top targets. For the opportunity to multiply up by 3 1/2 times, the Houston tight end is worth a roll of the dice.
Chiefs PK Harrison Butker OVER 1.5 FIELD GOALS (-120)
We love kicker props, and like comedian William Montgomery on the Kill Tony podcast, "we ain't never gonna stop betting kicker props!"
Butker will be the beneficiary of Houston's stout defense shutting down the Kansas City offense at key points, especially in the red zone. It should be a slam-dunk play for Butker to get to a pair of field goals, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him get at least 3 attempts.
