Texans at Chiefs picks and predictions

Prediction

Texans 21, Chiefs 17

Against the spread

Play the Texans +3.5 (-110) here. The Texans have the kind of defense that can keep games close, and we haven't exactly seen the Chiefs be the explosive Kansas City squad we're used to in years past.

The Chiefs have lost three of their last four, including a 22-19 loss to the Broncos in Week 11 that feels a bit like a blueprint for this game. Despite the fact that it's at home, expect it to be a close one.

Over/Under

Under 41.5 (-105) feels like the safer total play on Sunday night. Given how stifling the Texans' defense can be, coupled with the Chiefs' struggles to put up big points week to week, means it could be a low-scoring affair.
