The Golden State Warriors were in for a tough night. Playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors were without their prime superstars, Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. And that was always going to hurt for the rest of the team.
As expected, the Warriors faced early problems trying to build momentum. With the Cavaliers threatening to take the game away from the Warriors, they needed a star. Someone like Draymond Green, who claimed to play through a concussion during the Warriors’ 73-win season. Thankfully for Warriors fans, a hero did emerge.
Pat Spencer, who had a career-best night, exploded, making things easy for the Golden State. He was on the court for 29 minutes. And within the short span of time, Spencer dropped 19 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.
