Nathan Aspinall is worried that his iconic walk-on song Mr. Brightside could be given to someone else if he does not get picked for the Premier League.
Aspinall will not qualify automatically for the Premier League, with only the top four in the PDC order of merit going straight through.
As it stands, this is Luke Littler , Luke Humphries , Michael van Gerwen , and Stephen Bunting.
The four qualifiers are then joined by four wildcards.
Aspinall was given one of those in 2025 and that decision had been criticised by a number of fellow pros .
The 34-year-old has slipped down the order of merit and is 15th currently and his selection again would likely cause more controversy.
Aspinall is a Premier League fan favourite and his walk-on gets the crowd amped up.
