New Delhi: Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has put an end to the speculation surrounding her relationship with Palash Muchhal, confirming that their wedding has been called off. Her statement came just as rumours around the postponement began to spiral online, prompting both sides to clarify that they had mutually decided to step away from the planned ceremony.

The two were set to get married in Sangli on November 24 and the pre-wedding functions had already begun with several members of the Indian women’s team in attendance.
