On many instances, Paris Geller was the most relatable character in Gilmore Girls , especially from a neurodivergent perspective. Gilmore Girls is one of my biggest special interests of all time. Most of the characters in Gilmore Girls feel like they have at least a couple of neurodivergent traits, making it surprising that none are confirmed as such. However, Paris Geller displays autistic traits so overtly that it's undeniable.

As a diagnosed autistic and ADHD person (often portmanteaued into AuDHD), I frequently saw myself in Paris. What others saw as difficult, I saw as a person struggling to understand social norms and drowning in perfectionism.
