At the helm of Paradip Port Authority (PPA) is P.L. Haranadh — an experienced civil-servant, scholar, and strategist. A 1994-batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), his academic background (MSc & Ph.D. at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi) and decades of service across railways and shipping form a firm foundation for his leadership. Before joining Paradip, he served as Deputy Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Authority — a period during which his marketing and logistics initiatives propelled Visakhapatnam into the top tier of India’s major ports.
