New Delhi: Virat Kohli made a quiet stop at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha temple in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, offering prayers a day after India wrapped up the ODI series against South Africa. he paid a short visit but it carries the calmness and routine Kohli often leans on after a big performance.
The trip came less than 24 hours after he anchored Men in Blue’s chase in the decider with an unbeaten 65 off 45 balls. The knock was vintage King Kohli as he displayed clean strokeplay, sharp running and complete control of the chase. Visakhapatnam has always suited him and the numbers prove it pretty well. Across eight ODIs at the venue, he has now scored 652 runs at an astonishing average of over 108, including three hundreds and three fifties.
