COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Officers are investigating after one person was injured in a suspected drive-by shooting early Sunday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers were dispatched at 3:34 a.m. to the 1900 block of South Chelton Road regarding a reported shooting.

Police said unknown suspects in a light-colored minivan drove by and fired two shots from a shotgun, striking one person in both arms.

This victim was treated at the hospital for what police described as minor injuries.

CSPD’s Assault Unit was notified and took over the investigation.

No arrests have been made, and police did not release suspect information.
