SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- During 'Selection Sunday' on ESPN, it was announced that Notre Dame Football would not retain its 10th-place ranking and will miss the College Football Playoffs.

The Miami Hurricanes, who beat the Irish in the first game of the season 27-24, took over Notre Dame's #10 ranking.
