BATAVIA, N.Y. — The City of Batavia has announced the opening of their new police station.
All police operations in the city will be moved to the new station on 31 Bank Street starting on Monday, December 8. Police say that the building's lobby will be open to the public on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The city says that Alva Place from Bank Street to the Batavia City Center parking lot will be closed until construction is fully completed. Parking is available in the parking lot of the Batavia City Center.

Police also say that the department's phone number will stay the same, and residents can reach the non-emergency line at (585) 345-6350.
