The NFL's first December Sunday slate of the 2025 season will feature a couple of games where snow could potentially be a factor.
To the surprise of nobody, one of the games impacted will be taking place in Buffalo.
The Buffalo Bills are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14, and snow was falling at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York ahead of the game.
Will the flurries continue throughout the day, and how much snow might accumulate during a game that could have a big-time impact on the AFC playoff picture? Here's what to know about the weather in Buffalo as Sunday's game begins.
Bills vs. Bengals weather updates
Snow has been falling in Buffalo ahead of the Bills' Week 14 game against the Bengals. It hasn't accumulated significantly, but it was coming down hard at times during pregame warm-ups.
That said, the snow appeared to slow down a bit before kickoff. There was still a light coating on the field, but staffers had been able to clear the yard markers.
More snow could fall during Sunday's game, so it will be worth watching how Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are able to deal with the elements throughout the key AFC matchup.
Buffalo weather forecast for Bills vs. Bengals
It has been snowing in Buffalo ahead of Sunday's game. It will continue falling throughout the day, per National Weather Service (NWS), but accumulation will only be about 1 to 2 inches.
Below are the full details of Sunday's forecast.
- High temperature: 32 degrees
- Low temperature: 11 degrees
- Chance of precipitation: 80% (1-2 inches of snow)
- Wind: 7-9 mph
Those hoping to have a big-time snow game Sunday could be disappointed. The NWS reports snow will fall "mainly before 1 p.m." local time, meaning the heaviest flurries will come before kickoff, barring a change in the forecast.
