HOUSTON – Two people were killed after a fiery crash in Northwest Houston.

Police said the driver was speeding on the Northwest Freeway frontage road and Hewitt Drive at about 1:30 p.m.

They said the driver lost control, hit a barricade on the entrance ramp and the car caught fire.

The driver and a passenger died at the scene.

Their identities had not been released.
