Gilbert honored four employees through its annual “MVP” awards program, which highlights staff whose work exemplifies the town’s core values of being driven, kind, bold and humble.
The presentation opened with remarks describing why the town holds the awards and what the values represent in daily service.
“Always hungry for new challenges and opportunities to achieve more for our community. Every day,” said Andrew Hirsch, an organization development coordinator for the town.
The “Driven” award went to stormwater utility worker senior Glen Troutman. He was not able to attend the meeting, but officials noted the high number of nominations submitted across the organization this year.
