IOWA CITY — Iowa football 's postseason matchup is set.

The Hawkeyes will play Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl, according to On3's Brett McMurphy .

The ReliaQuest Bowl will be held at Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, Florida) on Dec. 31, 2025. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT (ESPN).

It will be a top 25 matchup. The Commodores were 14th in the final College Football Playoff rankings of the season, while Iowa landed at 23rd.

Vanderbilt finished the regular season 10-2 overall and 6-2 in the SEC. Both of the Commodores' losses came on the road — at Alabama (by 16) and at Texas (by three).
