For the first time since at least 2019, the Iowa football program will play in a bowl game after generating a ton of national respect.

Now the Hawkeyes get a chance to back that up with a shot to finish their 2025 season in a satisfying way.

The No. 23 Hawkeyes (8-4) will clash with No. 14 Vanderbilt (10-2) in the Dec. 31 ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, Florida. The New Year's Eve matchup, formerly known as the Outback Bowl, kicks off at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN at Raymond James Stadium.
