There were no injuries reported in a vehicle-train crash on Saturday, Dec. 6 on South Main Street in Orrville.
Responding firefighters from the Orrville Fire Department were called to the scene at around 10:20 p.m. to check on a person who was reportedly having breathing difficulties.
According to the Orrville Fire Department, a vehicle with two individuals inside stalled on the railroad tracks. When the two heard the train horn, they evacuated the vehicle and went to a safe distance from the track. The empty vehicle was pushed about half a block East of the collision location.
Medics evaluated both people who had been in the vehicle. One was released and the second was transported since they were a minor with no parent or guardian present.
