Four men were shot in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to the police department.

Police said they were notified just before 3 a.m. of a shooting in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Upon arrival, authorities reported they did not find any victims at the scene. However, according to police, officers were notified shortly after four men self-transported to local hospitals, each suffering from various extent of gunshot wounds.

The police department said Lincoln Avenue from Franquette Avenue to Curtner Avenue will be closed for a “significant amount of time,” and asked residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes as the investigation continues.
