TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Despite an ugly loss to Georgia on Saturday in the SEC Championship game, Alabama has made the 12-team College Football Playoff.

The Tide (10-3) were ranked No. 9 by the selection committee on Sunday, earning a spot in the first round where they will play the Sooners in Norman.

Alabama and Oklahoma met in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 15, a 23-21 win for the Sooners.
