N.C. State football will head to Florida to play Memphis in the Gasparilla Bowl.
The Wolfpack (7-5) closed the regular season with wins in three of its last four games, including back-to-back victories against Florida State and rival North Carolina at Carter-Finley Stadium to carry some momentum into the postseason. The Tigers have an 8-4 record, but lost three straight in the American Conference to close the regular season.
In its 13th season under coach Dave Doeren, N.C. State will try to snap a five-game losing streak in bowl games, aiming for its first postseason win since 2017.
The Pack has earned a postseason berth in 10 of Doeren’s 13 seasons. If State can get an eighth win in the bowl game, it will have at least eight wins in five of the last six seasons.
