ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A car crashed into a building and three cars on Saturday, all of which belonged to the veterinary non-profit, Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic.

Executive Director Wendy Heckman says SLPMD called her at about 3:50 a.m. to tell her there had been an accident in the parking lot.

Security footage from the non-profit shows a car barreling down Jefferson Ave. just south of downtown, crashing into the three cars before slamming into the building.

“It became apparent that they could see the inside from the outside they were worried about the pets, they told me it was a one-car accident and that it damaged all of our transport vehicles,” explained Heckman.

She says when she and her staff arrived, the first priority was making sure all of the animals were okay.
