A Jefferson City man facing multiple charges , including felony harassment, after allegedly threatening to kill a woman and holding her against her will Thursday morning.
Syvonn Lamont Byrd was charged Friday in Cole County Circuit Court with first-degree harassment, a Class E felony, as well as misdemeanor counts of third-degree kidnapping and fourth-degree domestic assault. A judge denied bond.
That same day, Audrian County deputies worked with Jefferson City Police Department to arrest Byrd in Mexico, Missouri, according to a Audrian County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.
When a search warrant was presented to the residence Byrd was in, he exited peacefully, according to the Facebook post.
