A sedan smashed into the side of Columbia Liquor off North Providence Road Sunday night.
People inside the liquor store at the time of the crash told KOMU 8 crews, two passengers were sitting in the vehicle in the store's parking lot when they crashed their car into the liquor store, leaving a gap in the side of the building.
Harry Patel, owner of Columbia Liquor, said no one was injured in the incident. He also said the Columbia Police Department arrived at the scene after 7 p.m. and cleared the area.
Patel, who has owned Columbia Liquor for 16 years, said there was no speculation about if the driver was intoxicated. He said knows the driver as a regular customer at the liquor store.
Patel said a car has crashed into Columbia Liquor before and was shocked it happened a second time.
