NORTH CAROLINA, USA — Due to inclement weather expected to hit Monday morning, schools are adjusting their schedules.
Ashe County schools will be closed for students, with an optional teacher workday for educators.
Avery County will have a remote learning day on Monday, after initially planning on a two-hour delay.
Watauga County schools will be remote on Monday. The district originally planned to open in person after a two-hour delay, but on Monday morning decided to switch to remote learning due to road conditions. More information can be found on the Watauga County Schools website .
