GRAND FORKS — UND running back Sawyer Seidl, an all-Missouri Valley Football Conference second team selection, will enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report by On3sports.

The report was posted by Seidl to his social media account.

Seidl, of Hugo, Minn., finished the season with 897 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added 19 catches for 177 yards and four touchdowns. Seidl also had a 92-yard kick return for a touchdown.

The 5-foot-10 sophomore burst out of the 2025 season with eight carries for 62 yards and two touchdowns in UND's 38-35 loss at Kansas State in the season opener.

He had his best stretch in a four-game stretch of Youngstown State, Southern Illinois, Indiana State and South Dakota. Seidl ran for at least 100 yards in all four of those games including a three-touchdo
