A 27-year-old male pedestrian was killed in a hit & run incident in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx in the early hours of Saturday, Dec. 6, police said.

An NYPD spokesperson said that at around 00.18 a.m., officers from the 47th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a vehicle collision at the intersection of Boston Road and East 222nd Street.

The spokesperson said, “Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined that a 2025 BMW M8, operated by an unidentified individual, was traveling eastbound on East 222 Street when he struck a 27-year-old male pedestrian who was attempting to cross East 222 Street mid-block from north to south.”
