The NYPD is looking for two men who scooped up a puppy in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx, while it was out for a walk and sped away on a moped leaving a New Jersey family devastated.
According to an NYPD spokesperson, the theft took place at the corner of Webb Avenue and West Fordham Road, near Devoe Park. “A 60-year-old male reported to police that on (Friday) Nov. 28, at approximately 12.30 hours, he was walking his dog in the vicinity of Webb Avenue and West Fordham Road when an individual approached him, picked up his dog, and fled the scene,” the spokesperson said.
“The individual fled with another individual on a 2-wheeled vehicle to parts unknown,” the spokesperson added, noting that there were no arrests in the case, but that police are continuing to investigate.
