The Silos rock climbing to close, can't pay bills, owners say

Downtown rock climbing will effectively end this holiday season as Stratus announces The Silos will close its doors on Dec. 21.

The Silos Climbing Team shared the announcement on Facebook Friday afternoon that the business will close it's downtown Oklahoma City location after it's been in operation since 1999.

"This gym is more than just a rock climbing facility. It is a family. A teacher. A second home. It is the soul of a community that flourished far beyond these walls for over 2 and a half decades. If the concrete could talk it would have so much more to say than we ever could," the post reads.
