PC Jeweller shares rose on Monday after the company announced a new collaboration aimed at supporting goldsmiths in Uttar Pradesh.
The stock was up nearly 1 percent on Monday, trading at Rs 11.14 on the NSE at around 11: 30 a.m. The shares were seen 2.17 per cent higher at Rs 11.29, it's intraday high.
In a statement, the Delhi-based company said it has partnered with the CM Yuva Udyami Yojana to help 1,000 PM Vishwakarma-certified goldsmiths (Sunar) in the first phase. The initiative seeks to enable these artisans in rural and semi-urban parts of Uttar Pradesh to become jewellery entrepreneurs and organised retail partners.
