Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses after a man was sexually assaulted by another man at a popular lake. A man was reportedly sitting on a bench at Gloucester Boating Lake when a man approached and sat down next to him.

Gloucestershire Police said the victim has stated that the suspect then "winked" at him, made a sexualised comment, and "touched his thigh" before leaving when asked to. The horrifying alleged incident took place between 12.50pm and 1.20pm on November 25.
