Onondaga, N.Y. – A developer is proposing to build a large mixed residential community to help fill the housing needs of new residents drawn to Onondaga County by Micron Technology’s massive semiconductor manufacturing project.
The 436-unit development would transform 92 acres of vacant land in the town of Onondaga into a mix of apartments, townhomes and single-family homes, according to a town board notice.
Stoneridge Residential Development will give an overview of its proposal and share preliminary renderings and market research at an informational meeting with the Onondaga Town Board at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Onondaga Town Hall.
The project would be built in phases across Ball Road from town hall. It would have entrances on Ball Road and McDonald Road.
