Sally McNeil shot her husband, Ray McNeil, on Valentine’s Day in 1995.

The pair, who were both former Marines and bodybuilders, met in June 1987 and married two months later. In doing so, Ray became a stepfather to Sally’s two children from her first marriage, daughter Shantina and son John.
