The NHS nurse who delivered the world's first Covid-19 jab is calling on families to remember to get lifesaving vaccines . It was five years ago today that May Parsons administered the first vaccine outside of clinical trials to 90-year-old Margaret Keenan.
This crucial vaccine saved the country from further lockdowns, with a clamour for everyone to be immunised for the betterment of everyone in the UK. However since then, vaccine uptake for both Coronavirus and flu have plummeted, so May is speaking out to urge people not to get "complacent" with their lives.
