Good morning! Scattered light rain is moving east across the Tennessee Valley this morning and will gradually taper off by sunrise. Patchy drizzle and fog will linger until 9 AM, which could lead to a few slowdowns on your morning commute. Lingering moisture could bring a few snowflakes to the higher terrain later this morning into the afternoon as northwest flow kicks in. Parts of Bledsoe, Sequatchie, Grundy, Marion, Monroe, and Cherokee (NC) counties will have the best chance of seeing a few flakes. The rest of us will stay dry this afternoon with chilly temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
