PARMA, Ohio -- Normandy High School’s winter concert the last few years has been a Trans-Siberian Orchestra-esque affair.
This season, the event has been renamed as The Grande Normanzian Orcheztra presents “A ChriZtmas Eve with Neil Zaza.”
The free show takes place at 8 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Pleasant Valley Road school.
“The reason I started this was I’ve been a musician for 30 years,” Normandy High School Band Director/Orchestra Director Pete Zaremba said. “Before I was a band director, I was on the road for 12 years with the band Cleveland.
“Out of all of the things I’ve ever done, my biggest memories were playing with and meeting great musicians. That had a big effect on my life and on my career. So I thought I would bring great musicians in to play with these kids because that’s an e
