WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 20-year-old Cleveland Heights man is scheduled to plead guilty Monday in Lake County Court of Common Pleas, in connection with the murder of a Euclid man in Willoughby.
Shamar Steele, 20, of was indicted on four counts:
One count of carrying a concealed weapon
One count of receiving stolen property
Two counts of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle
Damonte Perry, 20, was fatally shot on Sept. 15 in the 1300 block of Fox Run Dr.
Perry died from his injuries on Sept. 18 at University Hospitals.
Steele, Antoine Graves, Vance Triplett, and two juveniles were charged in connection with the crime.
One of the juveniles is the suspected gunman, according to police.
