NHS Fife “harassed” nurse Sandie Peggie by letting a trans woman use female changing facilities even after she complained, a tribunal has ruled.
However, all of Peggie's claims against Dr Beth Upton were dismissed – as well as the bulk of her claims against the health board. It was also ruled that Upton had "not falsely claimed that Mrs Peggie had been guilty of harassment".
The 312-page tribunal ruling, published on Monday, deals only with liability. A separate hearing to assess what remedy should be granted to Peggie for harassment will be held at a later date.
