NHS Fife harassed nurse Sandie Peggie following a transgender changing room row, an employment tribunal judgment has ruled.

It is a partial win for the Kirkcaldy nurse, who pursued legal action against the health board and transgender medic Dr Beth Upton .

Ms Peggie has said she is "beyond relieved" following an "agonising" case for her family.

The judgment was handed down following weeks of deliberation by Employment Judge Sandy Kemp and his tribunal members.

The nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy was claiming belief discrimination, sexual harassment and victimisation after being dismissed for complaining about sharing a changing room with Dr Upton on Christmas eve.
