MLB Winter Meetings have commenced, and there’s new Pete Alonso buzz that Boston Red Sox fans will smile about.

“The team that is best-positioned to sign Pete Alonso, not named the Mets, is the Boston Red Sox,” MLB Network’s Jon Morosi asserted on Sunday night while standing at the scene of the Winter Meetings.

“I’ve just got visions of how many home runs Pete Alonso might hit playing at Fenway Park,” Morosi continued.

Morosi said that there’s a 40 percent chance that the first baseman returns to the Mets.
